Decapitated body found at illegal dumpsite

A HIGHLY decomposed and decapitated body was found by a passer-by behind some bushes near Taman Taming Jaya's industrial area in Balakong yesterday.

A police spokesman said they received a call about the body at 10.20am and a forensics's team from Bukit Aman was dispatched to the scene.

The deceased, who identity has yet to be ascertained as no personal documents were found on him, is believed to have been dead for about two weeks.

It is believed the body was wrapped using a mat before he was dumped into the bushes, which is also used as an illegal dump site.

The deceased was clad in a white shirt and blue trousers.

Police found the deceased head about 5m from the body.

The body was sent to Serdang Hospital.

Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Rosli Mohd Nizam said they were waiting for the post-mortem before proceeding with investigation.
